ROOBOL - Mrs Gertrude Roobol, aged 79, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord Monday January 14, 1980. She is survivied by her husband, Henry Roobol; her children, Arthur and Dorothy Roobol, Mrs Thelma Hoogewind and Howard and Judy Roobol all of Grand Rapids; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs William (Effie) DeHaan and Mrs James (Clara) Ritsema both of Grand Rapids; one brother, Peter Start of Grand Rapids; four sisters-in-law, Mrs Gertie Sietsema of Wyoming, Mrs Jennie Start of Grand Rapids, Mrs Frances Start of Grand Rapids, and Mrs Lucy Toeset of Kentwood; one brother-in-law, William Dekker of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. Mrs Roobol reposes at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 311 Chicago Dr SW where services will be held Thursday at 1:30pm, with Rev Arthur E Pontier and Rev Christian VandenHeuvel officating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A service by Devries-Kuiper-DeGraaf.
