Death Claims Virgil Tull

Rites Monday For County Farmer, 75

Virgil Tull, 75, Sugar Creek Township, died today at 1:30 a.m. at the West Tenth Street Veteran's Hospital, Indianapolis, following an illness of two years. He had been hospitalized since Dec 1.
Services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Ewing Mortuary with Rev. J. Paul Mayfield officiating. Burial is in the Fairland Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4:00 p.m. Sunday
Mr. Tull was a farmer and lifelong county resident. A veteral of World War I, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, Victory Post 70, here.
He was born in Shelby County Jan. 1, 1892, the son of Ossa an Grace (Nail) Tull. He married Florence Weintraut and she survives.
Surviving are five children, Virginia Tull, at home, Mrs. John (Mary Frances) Cook, McCordsville, Mrs. Maxine Weaver, Shelbyville, John F. Tull, R.R. 3, Shelbyville, and Mrs. Kenneth (Clara Ann) Fitzgerald, Shreveport, La.; eight grandchildren; a brother, Cleo Tull, Alexandria, and a sister, Mrs. Opal Phillippi, Waldron.
