Lyman "Bill" McClintock, 84, Anderson, died March 12, 2002, at Manor Care Health Services after a briel illness.
He was born Dec. 5, 1917, in Anderson, and was a life long resident. He was the founder and owner of Lyman Engineering Co. Tool and Die Maker.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of almost 58 years, Berneice (Fischer) McClintock of Anderson, who he married Sept. 23, 1944, in Anderson; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert L. McClintock of California, Armand H. and Kim McClintock of Virginia and Maurice L. McClintock of Anderson; and a grandchild, Corl L. McClintock of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyman J. McCloctock and Beatrice L. McClontick.
Services will be 2 p. m. Friday at Roselle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours before services Friday at the funeral home.

Berneice E. McClintock, 82, of Anderson, died Jan. 23, 2004, at Manor Care Health Services after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 25, 1921, in Shelby County, Ind., and had been an Anderson resident most of her life.
She was a registered nurse who had been employed at Guide Lamp; as head nurse at American Nursing Home; and as a surgical nurse at St. John's Hospital. She retired in 1986.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include children, Robert L. McClintock of Glendora, Calf., and Armand H. and wife Kim McClintock and Maurice Lee McClintock, all of Anderson; her brother, John and wife Virginia Fischer of Shelbyville; two sisters, Mary Mammoser and Lois Durbin, both of Indianapolis; a grandson, Cord L. McClintock of Glendora, Calf.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Pearl (Braunagel) Fischer; husband, Lyman "Bill" McClintock; and a brother, Ray Fischer.
Public graveside services and burial will take place at 11 a. m. Tuesday in the chapel at East Maplewood Cemetery, officiated by Father Ed Dhondt. Private family visitation only.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. John's Children's Clinic.

Services for John H. Fischer, 86, R. R. 1, Waldron, will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. St. Vincent Catholic Church. The Rev. Anthony Seger will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at the Carmony Funeral Home here at 7:30 o'clock tonight and friends may call there at any time.
Mr. Fischer, ill several months, died Thursday at 6:45 a.m. in Rush County Memorial Hospital. He had been hospitalized one week. A retired farmer Mr. Fischer was a member of St. Vincent Church.
Born in Shelby County April 2, 1884, the son of Henry and Mary Catherine (Tibbe) Fischer, he married Pearl Braunagel Feb. 14, 1917. She died Oct. 19, 1968.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Mary Catherine) Mammoser, Chicago, Mrs. Bill (Berneice) McClintock, Anderson, and Mrs. Don (Lois) Durbin, Rushville; two sons, John H. Fischer Jr., R. R. 5, Shelbyville, and Raymond Fischer, R. R. 1, Waldron, and seven grandchildren. A daughter died in infancy. Mr. Fischer was the last surviving member of a family of five. Mrs. Pearl A. Fischer, 69, R. R. 1, Waldron, widely known resident of Liberty Township, died Thursday at 3:25 p.m. in Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis, where she had been a patient since July 1. She had been in falling health since suffering a fractured hip in May.
Mrs. Fischer was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church, St. Ann's Altar Society and the 49'ers Extension Homemakers Club.
Born July 15, 1899, in Shelby Township, the daughter of Conrad and Mary (Thibo) Braunagel, she was married to John H. Fischer Sr. on Feb 14, 1917 and he survives.
Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Mary C. Mammoser, Chicago, Mrs. Berneice E. McClintock, Anderson, and Mrs. Lois F. Durbin, Rushville; two sons, John H. Fischer Jr. Shelby Township and Raymond E. Fischer, R. R. 1, Waldron; two brothers, Ed Braunagel, Shelbyville, R. R. and Charles Braunagel, R. R. 6, Shelbyville, and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Brown, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Frances Headlee, Shelbyville. Seven grandchildren also survive. One daughter, Mildred Jane, died in infancy.
Services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent Church, with the Rev. Anthony Seger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Carmony Funeral Home in St. Paul after 1:00 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will be recited there at 8:00 p.m. Sunday. (Obit: The Shelbyville News, Oct. 11, 1968)

John Henry Fischer, one of the best known men in Liberty township, passed away this afternoon at 12:30 o'clock, of heart trouble, after an illness of several months. Mr. Fischer was well known as a experienced auctioneer in addition to his farming duties.
He was born in Oldenburg, Franklin county, September 22, 1846, making him at the time of death sixty-three years and two days of age. He married Miss Mary Tappe also of Oldenburg, who survives his sad demise. He removed to Shelby county in 1871, and has since resided in Liberty township.
In addition to the widow, he is survived by five children; Mrs. Mary Krug, of Chattanooga, Ten,; Mrs. Josephine Zinser, of Liberty township; Miss Agness, and Frederick and John Fischer, who live at home.
Funeral services will be held at St. Vincent's church, Monday morning at nine o'clock, at which time Father Ketter will say solemn high mass. The interment will be in the St. Vincent cemetery, M. G. Tindall in charge. (Obit: The Shelbyville Democrat, Sep. 24, 1909)

HEART DISEASE CAUSE OF DEATH

Mrs. Mary Catherine Fisher, Seventy-Eight Years of Age, Passes Away

Active In Catholic Church

Mrs. Mary Catherine Fisher, 78 years old, widow of Henry Fisher, died at 4:20 o'clock Saturday evening at her home, 136 East Broadway. Heart disease was the cause of her death, but until a few hours before she passed away her condition had not been though serious.
Mrs. Fisher was prominent in Catholic church activities, a member of the St Joseph Catholic church of this city and of the St. Anne Societies of this church and of St. Vincent's Catholic church. Her husband, who died about 21 years ago, was an auctioneer, well known throughout the county. At that time they lived near Waldron.
She was the daughter of William and Josephine Tebbie, and was born in Franklin county, March 29, 1852. She came to Shelby county 58 years ago, and had lived in Shelbyville for the last fourteen years. He marriage to Mr. Fisher took place on April 20, 1871.
Four of the eight children born to them survive: Mrs. John Zinser, Fred Fisher, and John Fisher, all of Liberty township, and Miss Agnes Fisher, at home. Mrs. Fisher also leaves two brothers and a sister: John Tebbie and Mrs. John Erthel, both of Tipton, Ind., and Joe Tebbie, of Franklin county. Eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock from the St. Joseph church, with Rev. John C. Rager, pastor of this church. Rev. Pleres Dixion, of St. Vincent's and Rev. Wolf, of Indianapolis, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Vincent's cemetery, in charge of C. F. Fix & Son. Friends may call at the home at any time until the hour for the funeral.
