    • Emigreerde in 1852 naar Amerika en vestigde zich in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.

    Overleden:
    • One of Shelby county's best known German citizens, Henry Anthony Runnebohm, passed away this morning at two o'clock at his home in Prescott, after having been ill for some time from Bright's disease. Mr. Runnebohm was a typical citizen of the fatherland, who settled in this county many years ago. Honest, industrious, frugal and in every way a good citizen, Mr. Runnebohm will be missed by many.
Henry Anthony Runnebohm was born in Bud Lohne, Amt Vechte, Germany, February 25, 1830, making him at the time of death seventy-nine years, eleven months and three days of age. He came to the United States in 1852, settling in Cincinnati, Ohio. On June 7, 1853, he was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Matrose. The same year the young couple moved to Franklin county, Indiana, coming to Shelby county in 1867.
Upon coming to this county, Mr. Runnebohm moved to a farm, one-half mile north of St. Vincent's church, in Liberty township, where he remained until 1897, when he moved to Prescott, where he has lived until the grim angel, Death, removed him this morning.
Mrs. Runnebohm passed to the Great Beyond January 24, 1902. To the union were born ten childre, nine of whom survive: Mrs. Mary Peter, of Brookville; Mrs. Elizabeth Enxel, John Runnebohm, Mrs. Rosa Grower, of Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Carrie Ast, of Kansas; Dina Runnebohm and Andrew Runnebohm, of Prescott; Mrs. Anna Fischer, of Oklahoma; Frank Runnebohm, of Liberty township. He is also survived by fifty-nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at nine o'clock in St. Vincent's church, the Rev. Father Ketter officiating. Interment in the St. Vincent's cemetery, Stewart & Fix in charge. (Obit: The Shelbyville Decocrat, Jan. 28, 1910 pg. 1)
