Lois F. Durbin, 76, of Indianapolis, died Saturday, May 15, 2010.
Born June 5, 1933, in Waldron, she was the daughter of John H. Sr. and Pearl E. (Braunagel) Fischer. She was married to Donald L. Durbin for 43 years, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Maureen K. (husband, Randy) Strothmann, Stephen D. (wife, Jolita) Durbin and Gregory L. (wife, Stacy) Durbin; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Fischer; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Laura, Briana, Erika, Donna, Leo and Michael; and one great-grandchild.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary C. Mammoser, Bernice E. McClintock and infant Mildred Jane; and brothers, John H. Fischer Jr. and Raymond E. Fischer.
Mrs. Durbin had been a lab technician at Rush Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, where she was in the choir and eucharistic minister for the church and Community Hospital North. She spent winters in Naples, Fla., where she attended St. Peters Church and participated in the choir and as eucharistic minister.
Mrs. Durbin enjoyed bridge, golf and tennis.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 East 71st Street.
